The room we had upstairs looked out over the paddy field, and it was clean and practical. The building feels new and has minimalist decor. There are three houses, each with a living room and pantry downstairs, basic kitchenware, and a water dispenser. There’s also a mushola on the second floor. Nearby cafes and warung makan are an easy walk away. Getting there can be tricky, with a narrow road beside a paddy field, and there are only three car spaces. Luckily, parking wasn't full when we arrived. The TV only gets local channels, but the picture was clear. The AC and water heater worked well, though the shower bidet's water flow kept changing. The door had a gap where someone outside could see in, so be careful. Two staff members were on hand. Our tissue box was empty and there was no mat outside the shower room when we arrived, but the staff had simply forgotten to set them out when I asked. I also felt uncomfortable having to leave both a Rp100.000 deposit and my KTP/ID card, which would be returned at checkout. At other hotels I've usually been able to leave one or the other. It was nice to have staff available, but they really should have their own work area. It didn't feel comfortable trying to relax in the nicely decorated guest living room and pantry while they sat on the sofa laughing, scrolling TikTok, and using their phones.

Parking was tight, since the road to the place is narrow. Luckily, I only had two rooms, so there was enough space for my car. The caretaker suggested a downstairs room because the Wi-Fi didn't reach the second floor. My bedroom was clean and smelled nice, though the amenities were lacking, and there was still some toothpaste and toothbrush residue in the bathroom, probably left by the previous guests. I also had to ask before they brought towels.
