Safa Homestay

The cafe has illy brand coffee, and we enjoyed our stay a lot. Service was excellent, with staff often ready to help and greet us with a smile. Breakfast was tasty, and they even provided it for our early departure to see the sunrise at Borobudur. Nice place for an inexpensive stay.

Being right beside the airport made getting around so convenient. The apartment was cozy, with a cabinet and a desk with a big mirror that worked well for getting things done and putting our belongings away. We arrived very late on the first night, and the staff let us rest before sorting out check-in and payment. They were kind throughout the stay, cleaned every day, and replaced the toiletries and towels daily. They even supplied dental kits. Breakfast was tasty every morning, and when we asked for a rice cooker, the staff did their best to find one for us. I’d happily recommend this place for a family or friends’ trip to Jogja. The photos I took while resting aren’t great, but the place looked much better after it was cleaned.

The breakfast was nicely presented and tasted good, and our two-room apartment was clean, comfortable, and had a fairly complete kitchenette with a large refrigerator. We stayed for one night. It’s very near the airport, with free pickup and drop-off. Finding the place can be tricky, though. I’d definitely stay here again if I needed somewhere close to the airport.

After a long day out, the shower was just what I wanted, with strong water and a lovely hot bath. The room itself was clean, cozy, and really spacious. Our host was friendly and helpful. Each morning they brought a different Indonesian breakfast right to our room.
