The restaurant serves reasonably priced food, and it's easy to order through WhatsApp. There's also an indoor prayer area for jamaah. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful, and the rooms were cleaned every day. They left two bottles of water daily, too. I had a really good stay at Tembok Batu Residence in Jogja. The rooms were spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with strong AC, and the shower had unlimited hot water. The hotel was very clean. Parking was spacious, secure, and had security. A calm, clean, safe place in Jogja with excellent service. I recommend it if you're visiting the city.

The staff were quick to help, and the restaurant was pleasant. The food was quite good, though I didn't care for the drinks. The rooms and guest seating areas were very clean. I'd suggest asking for a room on the second or third floor. A solid budget option for a three-star hotel, and totally recommended.

The service was good, and I liked that the location felt calm, even though it's a bit far out. The rooms and surroundings were lovely. But when a stranger threatened me near the hotel, the security guard just watched and did nothing. I was a guest, yet they treated me like I wasn't one.

The restaurant runs from 8 AM to 8 PM, with a small menu that's affordable. Check-in or check-out outside the usual times costs an extra quarter to half of the room rate, depending on how far off schedule it is. The rooms are clean and spacious, with bottled water and bathroom supplies, and there's shared space on each floor. Staff were friendly, and the hotel's quality was above average.
