The private pool looks lovely, but there was too much chlorine for me. After swimming, my hair felt crunchy and I could still smell the chlorine after showering, so I’d stick to a quick splash rather than a long soak. Ubu Villa Coconut is a charming little escape not too far from the city, with a relaxing spot to sit and look over the rice fields. The villa was quite clean, from the bedroom to the bathroom, and the decor details made it feel homey. Parking was easy, and there was a delightful restaurant nearby with live music on the weekend. It could suit couples, solo travelers, or friends wanting a quiet weekend. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and nice extras included a flamingo float, amenities, and Netflix for cozy nights in. The Wi-Fi was solid, too, if you need to work or want to binge a series. Service and facilities were somewhat top-notch.

The shower and bidet were frustrating because the water pressure was very low. Breakfast costs extra, and my room didn’t feel fully private since I saw a few people going into the field. Otherwise, it was a great stay: a nice bed, Android TV, and a good pool with an inflatable duck. You can order food online and have it brought right to your room.

Stayed for two days. The room was clean and smelled good, and the place was pretty good overall. It could work well for couples 👍👍 One thing I missed was a mini kitchen or kitchenette like at other Ubu villas 🙏 A few suggestions, though. The cleaning supplies were left in front of room 103, making the view from the front look ugly and not very aesthetic. A cupboard or cover would make that area tidier 😅😅 Please keep the water on while guests are staying. One afternoon, after swimming, I went to shower and the water was weak with no hot water. Maybe the booster pump was out. I had to WhatsApp the admin just to ask about taking a shower. They said the pool faucet was still running, so the water pressure was low, and asked me to wait for hot water. That was annoying 😂😂 There was no receptionist or cashier at the villa, so when I went out I left the key with the cafe cashier. When I came back, the cashier was confused about where it was. I asked the cafe staff, but no one seemed to know; then someone said to go straight to the villa because the key was there. I wondered how the room could be unlocked, but my husband and I walked over and the key had been delivered before we arrived 😅😂😂 The service situation had us laughing out loud.
