We had the best hotel stay of our whole holiday here. The rooms were spotless, and the grounds felt pleasant, quiet, and spacious. The staff were attentive and incredibly friendly. When they noticed we were using tissues, they brought toilet paper, and when they saw our clothes drying, they brought a drying rack. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet, felt local, and had everything we needed nearby.

The neighborhood feels local and residential, away from the usual tourist bustle, but the main sights are still only a 2-3 km motorbike ride away. The balcony was a lovely place to sit and listen to the river, and the white and wood details gave the room a calm feel. Inside, everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, from the shoe and luggage storage to the desk and drawers. The room felt roomy and cozy, the AC worked well, and the linens were some of the nicest I’ve had at a three-star hotel. The bathroom had good space, hot water that stayed hot, and an adjustable spray nozzle. Service was warm and quick from the beginning. The TV was crisp too. Code Riverstay Yogyakarta is a real find, and I’d gladly come back.

I stayed in room 206, next to 207, and that dividing wall is only plywood. The room beside mine was empty, but you may hear people if it’s occupied. The Wi-Fi was basically unusable, so don’t rely on it. Otherwise, there’s a lot to like for the price. My room was very clean and roomy, with large windows and its own terrace for relaxing or smoking. The river nearby made a nice sound at night, and the staff were welcoming and check-in was easy. There are plenty of inexpensive food spots and trendy cafes within walking distance in the campus neighborhood. Jombor Terminal is about 15 minutes away, and JaKal is a 1 km walk.

There are food stalls and cafes nearby, and the riverside spot is quiet enough for a good night's rest. The rooms were clean and everything worked well. Staff were friendly and ready to help whenever needed. Parking can be a bit tricky.
