Vikosa Private Pool Villa with View

There are two room options: two Family Rooms, each with two bedrooms and a pool, or four Studio Rooms with a queen bed and a small plunge pool that isn’t for swimming. In May 2026, the Family Rooms were full, so I booked two Studios. I liked the big parking area, the cute slow-living garden and its tidy chicken coop, and the welcoming staff who kindly carried our suitcases. But I was assigned the farthest room and had to wait 30 minutes because a repairman was fixing the lights. Once inside, I found the pool murky and covered in moss. I messaged the manager on WhatsApp right away. I couldn’t believe I’d paid 1 million rupiah for a night and got a room like that. Thankfully, the manager quickly moved me to a room with a cleaner pool, though I then waited almost an hour while a technician made repairs. I wondered why I hadn’t been put there first, so guests wouldn’t have to find that ridiculous pool. Soon after I got into the second room, I saw a pool company’s water tanker arrive and run pipes to the farthest room. My impression was that the villa was just starting out, and pool cleanliness only became a concern after a guest complained. They need some quality standards for the villa’s physical condition, so guests paying 1 million rupiah a night don’t find rooms that fall short of the price. I didn’t sleep well either. I could hear animals running around above the ceiling, then someone suddenly knocked on my door and my parents’ door at 2 a.m. None of us dared open up. Luckily, it didn’t go on for long. Breakfast was limited to fried rice or chicken rice. Thank God it still tasted good, and I could ask for it to be delivered at 6 a.m. I hope the villa and its service keep improving. I’d rather see more Family Rooms than Studios, since a small pool costs as much to maintain as a large one. And the big potted plants in the bathroom get in the way when using the toilet. They’d be better removed, since they aren’t pleasing to look at. Best of luck!

It feels cool here, right beside the rice fields. The place is nice and comfortable, with spacious parking. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to stay here.

The villa was clean and the breakfast was delicious. The room was so comfortable, I’m sure you’ll get a good night’s sleep. Best experience staying here, with top notch hospitality 💯💯💯

The atmosphere is pleasant, and the villa looks beautiful and photogenic. But cleanliness and upkeep need work. There was dust in several corners of my room, and some of the kitchen cutlery looked dirty or dusty, as if it hadn’t been washed properly. Even the Sunlight bottle turned out to have just water in it 😅 The water also had a bad smell. With a location and design this good, better maintenance and attention to cleanliness would have made the stay much more enjoyable. I hope they improve, because the villa really is nice.
