Votel Viure Hotel

The location is very convenient, close to Jogja's biggest mall, Pakuwon Mall, as well as local shops, food places, a market, hawkers, and minimarkets. It's a busy area, though, so traffic and noise can be an issue. Parking is cramped, both for cars and motorcycles. Staff were friendly and the room was clean and quiet, but the room lighting is dim. The room has an old TV with local channels only and no internet connection, unstable Wi-Fi, very cold AC, a wardrobe with a few hangers, chair and table, mirror, lots of power outlets, telephone, two glasses, two bottles of mineral water, water heater, glass cabinet, trash bin, shampoo, soap, tissues, hot shower, and a comfortable bed. All the facilities worked. The bathroom was smoky despite my asking for a non-smoking room, and people smoked in the corridors too, so it isn't suitable for children. There were cigarette burn marks on the table edges and bedside desk. Food and drinks cost too much. The stairs could be wider, and the place would benefit from smart TVs and better ambient lighting. It feels more like a guest house, motel, or kostel than a hotel.
