BTX 31 Residence Bintaro

For under 200,000 Rupiah, this is a pretty good place to stay, especially if you just need somewhere to rest. The room was clean and didn't smell, and the bathroom had a shower with hot water. They provided towels, shampoo, soap, and toothpaste. There was also a wardrobe, mirror, and table. There’s only one power outlet. The TV is there but doesn't work, and the AC remote is broken so you can't adjust the temperature. The place is down an alley, and its entrance closes at midnight.

The bathroom is fairly clean, but the room walls aren't. The AC leaks, one mattress has no blanket, and there’s no clock or rubbish bin. I couldn't find a Qibla direction sign either.

It took a few tries before I could get a room because the rooms were full when I first came. The rooms are clean, smell nice, and seem well maintained. It's close to everything, though the portal makes getting in a bit difficult at night. Finding food in the middle of the night can be hard too.

I booked a single night on December 21, 2024, because of a local event. The place felt safe and had all the amenities, but my room had a broken TV. The mattress was spring-only, and the AC remote worked even though its temperature display was off, so I couldn't see the setting. Phone reception was weak, and the Wi-Fi signal wasn't much better.
