For the price, it’s an okay place to stay. My room had a bathroom water system that kept leaking, and I couldn’t adjust the AC with its remote. I did notice a more unusual room upstairs, on the second floor, with a large glass window. It looked very cool, and seemed like a better option. The room itself was clean, tidy and comfortable, though the neighborhood feels a bit out of the way. I booked because I thought Jurang Mangu Station was less than 1 km away, but there’s no direct route, so getting there means taking a roundabout way. Room No.1 also had weak free Wi-Fi, and the signal didn’t reach well. There’s no rooftop, but outside is a designated smoking spot with a small chair, table and ashtray. Smoking in the room isn’t allowed. The house rules felt a little strict: the gate is locked at 11 p.m., you can’t come and go after that, and guests aren’t given a key. Couples also have to show proof of marriage, such as a marriage certificate. A 100K rupiah deposit is due at check-in and is returned at checkout.
