I don’t get why the comments here are so harsh. Mr. Yanto, the boarding house owner, has been incredibly kind and attentive. When the refrigerator broke, he replaced it with a bigger one. He also got a good mattress to replace an uncomfortable one, bought a new lamp when one stopped working, and responds quickly to complaints. I’ve lived in a lot of boarding houses, and this has been the best for me. The owner is understanding when someone pays late, and the boarding house keeper, Mrs. Yosi, is really friendly too. Residents can borrow food from her downstairs, where she sells some food and drinks. Wishing Mr. Yanto and Mrs. Yosi continued success, a long life, and good health!

The owner is very calculating. As a resident, I’ve had a lot of losses. The rented house has been falling apart, and there are workers around so it’s dusty, dirty and noisy. This has gone on for a long time, with renovations always happening, whether something is being built or repaired. When I asked to change rooms, the facilities weren’t the same, and I was even asked to pay the Wi-Fi transfer fee myself.

The room is nice, but it’s always a snap. You have to go down the alley and walk a bit for snacks, so Gojek is the way to go. The person looking after the boarding house can’t really do anything about it either. 😮💨

It’s expensive, and the owner doesn’t take much care of the boarding room. What’s the point of having a refrigerator if you’re always taking pictures?
