When I arrived at All Nite & Day Hotel – Alam Sutera in Tangerang, I was exhausted and stressed from an emergency trip I hadn’t planned. I had no settled dates or location and didn’t know how long I’d need to stay. Usually I book with hotel brands I know, but this time I couldn’t make any of my usual reservations. I just needed somewhere safe and steady while life felt chaotic. I wasn’t after luxury, just comfort and a place to breathe, and this hotel became a little refuge for me. The room was cozy, clean, and well kept. It helped me feel safe and calm, and gave me room to settle emotionally and mentally. More than that, the people here made me feel cared for. From the start, the staff were kind in a way that felt sincere, not scripted, and each interaction put me at ease. Kiranie, as Ms. Ratu Ayu Anggita Kiranie introduced herself, stood out. She was patient, helpful, and cheerful, always wearing a smile regardless of the time or what I needed. Whether I had a question, a problem, or just needed reassurance, she found a solution. Her calm manner and willingness to help made a huge difference, and people like her make a hotel feel like a home away from home. I’ve been a Platinum or Gold member with many well known hotel groups, including Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Hilton Worldwide, Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), IHG Hotels & Resorts, ITC Hotels, Kempinski, Langham Hospitality Group, Lotte Hotels & Resorts, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Marriott International, Meliá Hotels International, MGM Resorts International, Oberoi Group, Radisson Hotel Group, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Archipelago International, and The Ascott Limited. I know global hospitality standards, but the straightforward, heartfelt warmth here felt different from what many luxury chains offer while pursuing perfection. This stay reminded me that hospitality comes from sincerity and human connection, not grand buildings or expensive decor. I’m deeply grateful for the kindness and comfort I received when so much else felt uncertain. If you’re looking for more than just a room, this is a place where I felt respected, cared for, and at home.

After trying several places, I found All Nite & Day Hotel, Alam Sutera, and what stands out to me is the neighborhood and the people. The hotel has a boutique feel, and its exterior looks like someone tried to make it modern and distinctive. That alone wouldn’t make me recommend it, though. The reception team gives the impression they’re doing their best. The men are neatly groomed, and the women, often busy at their computers, greet you with bright smiles as soon as you say hello. The receptionists are one of the hotel’s strongest features. Ms. Kiranie in particular is always smiling and gives guests a warm welcome, even during a brief exchange. Her English isn’t perfect, but it’s never a problem communicating. She says she’s still studying and feels she has more to learn. I think that effort shines through, since dedication counts for a lot. The surrounding area has plenty: Chinese, Japanese, and fusion Korean restaurants, Starbucks, bars, cafes, Subway(Fast food restaurant), laundry service, a gelato cafe, a steakhouse, a large shopping mall, a big fruit shop, massage shops, karaoke, and Indonesian restaurants. I’ve taken at least 500 flights, I believe. Up to last year, I had entered the US 102 times, which accounts for 204 flights for those round trips alone. I’ve visited Indonesia many times too, so the total is quite high. Does it really pass 500? Definitely. I’ve traveled to dozens of US states, and many international trips, including some to the US, involved connections. I’m sharing this long travel history because the perspective may be useful to others. When choosing a hotel, what should be nearby? A bank, mall, restaurant area, or bar? On a short visit, a hotel with plenty of facilities can be great, and five-star places naturally offer a lot. But after repeat stays or a longer visit, the hotel’s own facilities matter less, and you start looking for what’s around it. If you haven’t checked, you may only realize later that you need to walk around and find nearby essentials. More than half of Indonesia’s population lives on Java, where areas that feel distinctly Muslim and places that feel fully secular sit side by side. Alam Sutera, in Tangerang, Banten province, has a range of facilities. A number of hotels are near Tangcity Mall, including Novotel in Tangerang, Mercure, Howard Johnson, Olive, and Yellow Bee. But there’s little convenient nearby at those hotels. It can be hard even to find somewhere for a casual beer, which can leave you suddenly disappointed. You can take a taxi, of course, but it’s not as simple as it sounds. Unless you’re only there briefly, you may not realize that parking charges and road tolls in Indonesia add up. There are toll gates as you travel, and you have to pay parking even after shopping or eating. It feels quite different from Korea. Is it sensible to call a taxi just to have one glass of beer? That’s why I became more careful about hotel locations.

The room was comfortable and everything met my expectations, so I was really satisfied with our pleasant stay at All Nite & Day Hotel Alam Sutera. The service was excellent too. Thanks to Mr. Nugra from the owl bistro staff, who was helpful and friendly!

I chose this 3-stars hotel because it’s centrally located in Alam Sutera. I didn’t expect too much, and after two nights, the stay hasn’t gone beyond those expectations. The room was clean and simple, though a bit small. There was a kettle but no mini-fridge. Breakfast was what you’d expect for an Indonesian hotel of this class, with limited healthy options and lots of fried Indonesian dishes. The omelettes and fresh fruit helped. The coffee machine only made pre-sweetened lattes, but Evan from the restaurant staff politely found a manual workaround.

The restaurant food was great and really good value for the money, so I was very satisfied with it. Harry helped me during my visit. Thanks for the service, well done! 🥰🤣
