The suite was spacious and clean, with panoramic views, and the AC worked properly. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were helpful. There was only one room access card. Getting an extra one required a 50K deposit per card. Breakfast needs improvement, the bathroom water pressure was very low, and restaurant staff took quite a while to clear the used plates.

The room controls look like a novelty but are less user-friendly than ordinary light switches, so they don't feel smart at all. Staff were unsure about recycling. What I saw instead was air circulation switched off in the lifts and restaurant hallways in the evening, AC turned off before lunch, and Reception lights off in daytime. That feels like penny-pinching at the cost of comfort for staff and guests. There's no clear identity, efficiency, or consistency here. This is a swanky building with a “4-star” classification, yet the uniforms I've seen on multiple occasions had dingy, faded colors, loose stitching and threads, or even a musty smell from poor drying and laundry. Does the hotel look after and maintain its staff well? The care they receive affects the care they can give. Management seems to expect people to make greatness out of mediocrity, which says a lot about the people making those demands. Most rooms have connecting doors, so expect less privacy and more noise when the neighboring room is occupied. The accessible toilet is also missing basic things in several ways, including door locks, toilet paper, and soap. I reported that months ago, and nothing has improved. They may provide things, but don't seem to care whether they're usable. The display cases have standard drinks at inflated prices. These are ordinary low-cost items you can get elsewhere, like at Indomart, yet they charge more. How is that hospitable? They could make their own drinks to justify higher prices with some effort and character, or work with specialists willing to supply products under the hotel's branding. From what I've seen over time and on closer inspection, the place seems to be pretending to understand and provide hospitality. It's a bit sad.

The venue and the on-site staff made a good first impression when I visited to look at it for an event. The staff member who helped us was polite, professional, and helpful. He explained the venue clearly and gave us his superior/PIC's contact for booking. After that, the booking follow-up was disappointing. I contacted the PIC, Ibu Elice/Elis, to ask if my intended date was available. It took two days to get a reply, and the information kept changing. First she said the 6th floor wasn't available, then that it was open, then that it wasn't after all. She casually suggested using the ballroom on another date for a lunch event. Changing dates really? The slow replies and back-and-forth felt unprofessional and wasted my time while I waited for a clear answer. It's a pity, because the venue itself and the staff member who showed it to us had been promising. Booking communication needs a lot of improvement.

From the 17th floor, the city view was stunning. The hotel has an “infinity” pool and a basketball court, and both were a big hit with the kids. Cakeepp! It's a very impressive hotel and worth trying.
