We had a power outage while staying there, and there wasn’t a generator for guests. It could at least have kept the water pump going. The bed was uncomfortable, and the room was crawling with cockroaches.

RedDoorz listed the price in the app as 100rb-125rb/ malam, but after I booked, the staff told me it was 150rb/ malam. At 11 they wouldn’t let me go out to buy food even though I was hungry. The guy on duty said I couldn’t leave, and I couldn’t sleep because I was worried he’d lock the door when he went out at 11. What if you’re hungry... 😴😴😴😴

I was pretty satisfied with my first stay here. The facilities were good value, and the receptionist was friendly. Before booking, I checked RedDoorz and entered promo code RDAFFMDN, which made the price much cheaper than I expected. If you travel often or need a room at the last minute, the code can save you a lot.

The room was spacious, and the guard was friendly. We got some information about tourism in Langkat too. If we holiday in Kestabat again, we’ll definitely stay there.
