My family was really happy with the stay, thank you. The hotel has big rooms and is near central Sukabumi. I’d recommend it to my extended family.

I booked Room 201, a two-bedroom family room, for three adults and one child from January 6-8, 2026, after seeing all the five-star reviews. The place looks clean and modern, and the air conditioning setup worked out well. There was one unit in the main bedroom and one in the family room; the second bedroom had no AC, but ventilation kept it cool and comfortable. It’s fairly close to town, with lots of food places nearby for breakfast, and the mosque is close too since the hotel is in a residential complex. The room was generally big enough, but it had a huge window looking straight at someone’s roof. The family room has one king bed and one single bed, but the slippers, towels, glasses, coffee and tea, and toothbrushes were only provided for two people, though the room is generally for three. There were still renovation issues, with hammering sounds and dust. The elevator wasn’t ready, so we had to use the stairs, although staff helped carry our suitcases. The hot water kept cutting out. It was okay for me, but too cold for the kids, and there was no kettle. A dispenser outside the room had only a little hot water, which ran out after a small amount and wasn’t hot again. We complained repeatedly and went back and forth for two days. They explained the heater was connected to the electricity card, so it switched off when the card was removed. We had only one card and no spare. We got another on the second day, after moving downstairs, and the manager was out of town, they said. An admin apologized by message, but it was already my last day, so that didn’t help much. There was no screen in the stairwell, so outside air came in. A smoker was smoking there and the cigarette smell reached the second floor. I complained at reception, but they didn’t seem to take it up with the smoker, so I had to act myself. If you smoke, please don’t make things unpleasant for other guests. Find a room with someone who smokes too, because this affects everyone else. There are still lots of things to upgrade and evaluate. If the hotel isn’t ready, it shouldn’t be open yet. The price isn’t especially cheap, and at that rate I expected more.

The elevator wasn’t finished, and the pool was still under construction, the WhatsApp admin told me when I asked about it. I could live without a pool, but I hadn’t expected the elevator to be unavailable in a three-floor hotel. Reviews also mentioned noise from bullies and cigarette smells, which gave me a bad feeling. I confirmed with the admin that the elevator wasn’t ready, and then found out my room was on the second floor. I wasn’t being fussy: I was bringing my elderly mother, who can’t climb even one floor, and I couldn’t manage it either. The admin offered to change our room type, but that option wasn’t ready either, and there were problems with it. I decided to cancel and find a better hotel. I’d checked Google reviews two or three days before check-in, after first being drawn in by the hype, and wish I’d looked sooner. Agoda wouldn’t refund the booking. I asked the hotel about its policy, and they wouldn’t refund it either, so I lost 588,000 Rupiah. I’d been tempted by the Agoda promo, and hope something else comes of it. If the place isn’t ready, they should wait to open, or maybe they’re rushing to bring in income to build it. Haha, congrats!

Clean and comfortable, with friendly staff. I’d like to stay here again.
