Hotel Ratu Pantai

The beach is close by, as are a minimarket, and the price is fairly low. The staff were friendly and liked chatting, though they weren't much help with requests. The air conditioning and hot water worked, but the shower gradually turned cold, and the AC wasn't very effective during the day. I stayed one night in a deluxe room. I can understand sand getting inside because the place is right on the beach, but the listing on Traveloka promised facilities that weren't there. There was no WiFi connection my phone could detect, the TV didn't work in the room and was only available in cottages that cost extra, and we had to ask for towels. There wasn't even soap, other toiletries, or bottled water.

The bed was very comfortable, and there was a table fan. That's about it for the room: no TV, AC, blanket, soap, drink, towel, or breakfast. We paid IDR 250 on a weekday, and 300 or more on the weekend. It's 20 meters from the beach and 5 km from Puncak Darma and the waterfalls. It might be worth it since it seems like the best option around, though we didn't check the others.

The place is reasonably comfortable and has a calming feel, but it needs to do better with cleanliness. The beach is a mess, with lots of plastic, and you can't swim there.

The route to the hotel has great views. The place itself was dirty, there were no COVID-19 sanitation measures in place, ants were everywhere, and the pool had no water.
