The onsen has a lovely view, lets you bring your own bathing essentials, and stays open longer. The water wasn’t as hot as at other onsen hotels, though. I came to try it and get a change from Jakarta hotels, and found a spacious onsen, a nice pool, a cozy reading room, a well-equipped gym, and a playroom for kids. There’s also a restaurant and bread shop. The room was much bigger than I expected, great if you’re bringing children, and the place is peaceful and quiet. It’s far from public transport, so bringing your own vehicle is best.

We had our wedding here on August 5, 2023, and the experience was ✨EXCEPTIONAL✨. The ballroom worked perfectly for our small wedding, and there were lots of lovely simple-style spots around the hotel. The room was clean and spacious, and the friendly, humble staff handled the wedding, facilities, service, and THE FOOD so well. Thank you, SAKURA, for such a great experience 💖

I stayed for about 1 month and was very happy with the hotel. The rooms were cleaned every morning, and all the employees I met were friendly and helpful. The Sakura restaurant is really good, and its staff seemed to anticipate almost every wish. When the internet stopped working properly, I reported it and it was fixed within max 1std. Someone even checked in person to see if it was working again. The fitness room has what you need after a long workday, and there’s a small in-house kiosk next door. There’s also a Japanese sauna, a swimming pool that’s checked and cleaned daily, and a massage room, though I didn’t try that myself. Thanks to the whole team for a very pleasant stay. About an hour from Jakarta, this is an affordable Japanese stay that works for business trips or a short getaway. I really liked the hot ofuro. There’s no cold pool, but the hot one is spacious enough for several people at once. The sauna is small, though it gets hot enough for a healthy session. Breakfast was surprisingly good for the rate, with fewer choices but high quality. I saw that the manager is Japanese. And thanks for the complimentary ice cubes, I enjoyed them with my own cocktail.
