Grand Mulya Bogor

The room and facilities were in very poor shape. The bed was dirty and damaged, there were no toiletries or bathroom floor mat, and the walls had lots of peeling paint and water leaks. The pool was dirty too. Across the hotel, paint was coming off, water was seeping through walls, cobwebs and stains were visible, and unpleasant smells lingered. Even the outside looked neglected, and the old playground seemed abandoned. The dining area had flies and sandy floors, while the elevator smelled rotten. Many doors didn’t work properly, the room lighting was dim, and the whole place felt eerie. Service was just as disappointing. We were playing table tennis when the lights were suddenly switched off without warning or checking with us. It was already late, but that still felt discourteous and unprofessional. I don’t understand the many 3, 4, or even 5-star reviews; they don’t match what I experienced. Social media gives a misleading picture of the hotel. Sorry, but I absolutely wouldn’t recommend it. I’ll never return, and I strongly advise others to avoid it!!!!

Sitting out on the balcony is pleasant, and the location has a beautiful view. There’s also a pool if you want to swim. The rooms are very old and in poor condition, though, and the breakfast wasn’t delicious.

The place is easy to reach from Sentul, which makes it handy for a quick getaway. It’s a huge, open property with fresh air and a quiet, relaxing feel, and the price seems reasonable for the space and experience. The staff are kind, welcoming, and ready to help. The building looks pretty ordinary from outside, but the interior and decorations are done nicely and feel comfortable. A peaceful place to stay at a fair price.

We hosted our community’s halal bihalal at Grand Mulya Bogor. It’s a nice venue for a gathering, with plenty of space and parking and a convenient location. The catering was disappointing, though: they supplied much smaller portions than we’d ordered, which caused confusion during the event. Hopefully they improve that.
