Querencia Cabin

The food was delicious, and the hosts welcomed us warmly. We even got to share some nice stories with them. With farms all around and just one cabin nearby, it feels private and very quiet, a lovely place to slow down. I had a wonderful stay and will remember it.

I came to Querencia Farm and Cabin hoping to get some quiet and rest from Jakarta's nonstop noise and rush. After a few days there, I left feeling refreshed and grateful. The gardens and cool mountain air made it peaceful straight away. It was 18-22°C, a comfortable temperature for coffee on the porch, reading, or walking among the flowers. The cabin was tidy, thoughtfully laid out, and well equipped. Everything I used, from the bed and hot water to the terrace seating, worked well and made it easy to settle in. The garden was a highlight, with blooming flowers, green grass, and colorful plants everywhere. Misty, quiet mornings and golden sunsets over the orchids were especially magical. The calm, stillness, and fresh air made Querencia feel like a sanctuary.

woooow, the cabin was amazing. It felt like home, the best stay of our two months in Indonesia. Everything was new, really clean and spacious, and the cabin sits in a lovely quiet garden. We had a great breakfast outside and could enjoy the sunset too. The family running it were so friendly and helped arrange a scooter and gave us tips. There was free drinking water and chocolate in the room. You can visit beautiful waterfalls and lakes nearby. I couldn't get the review to work on booking, so if you're confused by there being just one comment there, don't worry. You'll be so happy you booked this cabin!

Bring a sweater or two. It gets properly cold here, even in the daytime, and at night I wished there were a heater. You won't need AC: the place is high on a mountain, with constant wind and clouds rushing past. Still, the fresh air and mountain atmosphere, delicious food, and happy moments with the puppies and the host's sweet dogs made the stay unforgettable. It felt like a cozy countryside retreat, full of flowers, character, and carefully thought-out details. The hosts showed such genuine care that I wished I could stay forever. They serve delicious home-cooked food, and a special corner looks out over a lush valley, distant ocean, and dramatic sunset skies. The host is kind, wise, and warm, and our conversations added to the feeling of home. It's a memory, not just a stay.
