Kampung Karuhun Eco Green Park Sumedang

Alhamdulillah, the food was the best, the satra was clean, and the staff were very good. They served tea too. I was happy to find food like Pakistan in Indonesia, mashallah.

My kids enjoyed swimming, exploring the nearby river, the mini zoo, and the food. We came spontaneously with no prior plan and expected a standard traditional leisure park, but overall we liked the attraction. Some full-time tourists might find it too ordinary, though. The location is remote, so what can you expect?

There are lots of things to do here, including photo spots, places to rest and eat, a pool, and a river where you can swim or sit. Toilets and prayer rooms are clean, and it's a nice place to refresh with friends or family. There are only a few huts, so book early if you'd like one with a good view. You can order food from the restaurant or stalls, bring your own lunch, or have a picnic in the garden. The grounds are quite large and get very crowded on holidays, when the parking lot can't fit all the vehicles. Getting here requires your own vehicle, and the road to Kampung Karuhun is narrow, with cliffs and drops on both sides and no barriers. Be careful, especially in rainy weather when it's slippery. It's a popular place we've visited, not far from my grandma's house.

Bugs and spiders were all over the place, including the rooms, bathrooms, and dining area. If you're very afraid of them, that could be a problem, though they're not hostile and otherwise it's no big deal. There are deer, sadly kept in a cage, though I think that can be educational for kids. The food was so-so. On the nice side, there's lots of greenery and fresh air, and when it isn't too crowded the atmosphere is peaceful. Just watching the river flow made me feel really relaxed. Service was decent.
