I paid IDR 50,000 per night on the OYO app for two nights in a Spot On Non-AC Double room at Kost Putrana Syariah. At that price, it's good value for anyone visiting Jatinangor who needs a transit or daily stay. The room size is about what you'd expect from a boarding house or OYO Spot On, not an OYO hotel that's not Spot On. There were two mattresses, two pillows, and blankets. No fan or air conditioning, but Jatinangor is consistently cool, so that was fine. A small shelf holds little things, and there's a large closet for hanging clothes or storing bags and luggage. The bathroom had a water heater, but the taps in room E were reversed, with the cold tap running hot and the hot tap cold, haha. The ladle wasn't well maintained either, so I had to wash it with soap before using it. It was quite good overall. The bathroom could be cleaner, as there was dust hanging from the ceiling. The ladles should also be checked to make sure they're fit to use. It might help to freshen the room before check-in too, to prevent that musty smell.

There's a queen-size bed, a fan, a wardrobe, and an ensuite bathroom with a hot shower. For two people it was listed at 85,000 Rupiah, but I found an app promo and paid just 60,000 Rupiah. Really cheap, more like a daily rental. Oddly, they don't provide a room key 😅. The parking area is spacious, and the tall gate is always locked, so it feels secure. Getting back in from outside is a hassle, though. You need to ask the shop next door to open the gate or WhatsApp the front office, since there's no bell. It's beside the campus and near IPDN. Could work well for relatives visiting for graduation, or if you need to stay after a concert in Jatinangor or after a long, tiring commute. Even just staying overnight is a good option. Hehe Before booking, look for app promos, then confirm and negotiate whether they'll honor the app price or charge extra. Luckily, yesterday I got the price shown in the application. The owner and his family are friendly, and you can order food directly from them if you need some. The place is comfortable and clean, with secure parking inside the guesthouse grounds. God willing, I'll definitely come back. 👍
