I found Skyland City Jatinangor Hotel comfortable, with good views and polite, helpful staff who made check-in and check-out smooth. It seems like a comfortable, affordable option for business or family trips to Jatinangor.

The location is a real plus, close to campuses and the mall, yet set back from the main road with a lovely mountain view. Sky Café also had nice breakfast service, and dinner was affordable. The place felt pretty empty, though, with little activity around. We came to Jatinangor with our child to look at boarding houses and chose this hotel apartment after seeing it promoted a lot on TikTok. The price seemed reasonable. About a week ahead, we booked a two-bedroom executive room with single beds over WhatsApp for around IDR 700K a night, paying 50% upfront. We asked to combine the beds in the main room into a double and requested an extra bed for IDR 250K. The WhatsApp admin said both could be done. At check-in, the receptionist didn't seem to know about the requests. They said the room was too small for a queen setup, and the extra bed was put on the floor beside the main bed. We were disappointed and switched to a double king room for around IDR 500K, only to find two single beds pushed together unevenly. It was surprising because the hotel was quiet even over a long weekend. We got a small discount because of the room problem. The rooms still use regular keys, cleanliness was so-so, and the lighting was dim, especially in the bathroom. The main letdown was the locked balcony door, which guests couldn't use. That's quite different from what the social media promos show. Our first stay was a bit disappointing. Since it's near our child's boarding house, we might come back to rest and sleep, but with low expectations. I hope the service and booking coordination improve. We may also look for a more suitable apartment.

I stayed at Skyland for the first time and was pleased with it. The room was nice and clean, with a balcony facing the mountain. Breakfast was okay, and there was a swimming pool right in front of the breakfast hall. Recommended.

My stay was fine. The hotel's interior is starting to look a bit old, though, and could use some minor cosmetic work.
