You get what you pay for: a basic room at a budget price, near Sumenep Park. It wasn't very clean, with stains on the top sheet cover, and there was no top sheet or blanket. The bum gun handle was broken, so I used the shower hose cable. There was no toilet seat or towel, but there were two bottles of water.

The bathroom was still not very clean after I changed rooms, and I had to ask them to replace the sheets, spray the room to get rid of the cigarette smell, and sweep and mop. In the morning I did get a room with cold AC after asking, and the hotel management responded quickly to all my complaints. It felt like getting a decent room depended on luck: some were really dirty, while my friend got one that was quite okay. In the first room, the AC wasn't cold, the sheets were stained and dirty, the room smelled of cigarettes, there were cigarette butts, and the bathroom was full of cockroaches. I ended up sleeping in my friend's room, where the AC also wasn't cold and the bathroom wasn't clean. I had booked five rooms for two nights, but when we arrived, the app said the hotel had canceled us, even though we were there and could check in within 24 hours. The hotel said only two rooms were available that night, and there would be no refund until two days after we left.
