Apartment Gunawangsa Merr by Rava

The pool is big enough for some lap swimming, and I think it's better value than a few other well-known public pools around here. In May 2025, admission was 60k and included fruit salad and iced lychee tea. Go early, around 7 am, to miss the crowds. It probably gets packed in the late afternoon since there's a sunset view.

Fairly priced, and I love the gym. Handy for a short trip, with the airport close by.

The river and skyline view was nice, and the staff were friendly. Convenience stores right by the entrance were handy too. The room itself felt old and badly in need of paint, with scuffs and dirt on the walls. My bedding was mostly clean, though a couple of pillows had faded yellow stains. I also found clean towels left on the toilet seat. Fine for a very brief stop, but I wouldn’t want to spend several days here or hang around the hotel.

I was very disappointed. After spotting lots of dots and odd marks on the mattress during my usual late-night check, I went to reception because I suspected bedbugs. They only offered another room, and I wasn’t willing to take that chance. I ended up booking a different hotel and a taxi at 2 AM. The staff didn’t help with that, and they still haven’t replied to my emails. I can’t recommend this place.
