Aria Centra Hotel Surabaya

The staff were warm, welcoming and exceptionally polite, and I really appreciated that. The room, though, was quite ordinary and fell short of what we expected. There were visible stains on the pillow covers, sheets, towels and blankets, and even on the plate for the toilet amenities. The curtains were full of holes. There was no iron in the room; reception said ironing facilities were on Level 7, but we went there twice, once with a staff member, and couldn’t find one. I’m not sure if I’d choose to stay here again.

My first time in Surabaya, and I had good food, nice service and very polite staff. It’s near Tunjungan Plaza. Thanks, Aria!

The food selection was broad, with Indonesian and Western dishes, plus lots of choices for both main courses and desserts. It’s a great fit for families. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with facilities that all worked well, and each one had a minibar with coffee, tea and soft drinks. The location is very convenient, near Surabaya’s main road. Service was very good, and both security and other staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks, Aria Centra, for such good service.

That pillow was so comfortable, and I slept really well after a long trip. The water pressure was good, and hot water was available around the clock. They also provided complimentary minibar drinks, though the refrigerator didn’t get cold enough. Some areas, like the sink and under the bed, could use renovation. The rest was nice.
