Best Hotel Kedungsari

A good little hotel. The room, bed, and AC were all okay. The room could be cleaner, though. Location was okay, and the staff were nice.

AWFUL!!! The hotel was so dirty that we moved rooms, only to find another dirty one with a broken shower. We couldn't stay, so we left for another hotel, but still haven't heard anything about a refund. When we left, the staff told us to contact the agent, booking.com, who then told us to contact the hotel. We weren't expecting luxury, but this was bad. The staff seemed aware of the problems, and the building facilities were poor.

The receptionist desk was a mess and looked like a storage area. The walls were dirty with shoe marks, and it looked like they hadn't washed the floor, just swept it with a regular broom. The toilet smelled bad and was clearly dirty. Cables were hanging out everywhere, and the tables hadn't been wiped. Then there was dirt on the walls that looked like human nose mucus. You might not see it in my pictures, but it was there. I felt disgusted as soon as I entered the room because of the “HOTEL MAINTENANCE.” How is this hotel still operating? The government should take away its permission to run. It's so far below standard. Maybe that's why they changed the name from best zodiak hotel to “BEST HOTEL,” which isn't true at all. Think twice before giving this hotel a thumbs up. 😂🤣

For the price, this quick, cheap hotel offered more than I expected, and its location was very strategic. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the hangout spot across from reception looked fun. Everything was small, but the room was clean, with minimalist, tidy furniture that had a cheap finish. The wood floor made it feel nicer. The bathroom was basic but clean, though the shower was put up quickly with a fixed, non-adjustable holder that was annoying and impractical. The free amenities were minimal and cheap but usable. There was no fridge, and my AC wasn't very cold, maybe because it was tiny.
