The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, with friendly staff and good WiFi. There’s a convenience store in the lobby for basic things you might need. It’s right across from Surabaya’s largest mall, so shopping and finding food is easy, and there are several local places to eat nearby too. Foodies will have plenty to try. I think it’s good value for money.

The breakfast was pretty bad, honestly. There’s no hot drinks maker in the room, but you can buy hot drinks at the mini market beside reception. The room had no window view, and I could hear the guests next door if they brought noisy kids. They have WiFi, but nobody gave me the password. Maybe guests are supposed to ask, but I’m not the sort to beg for WiFi. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the aircon worked well, and the hot or warm water was okay.

This budget hotel chain offers affordable rooms and good service. You have to pay a deposit up front. I’d recommend it for a day or two, especially if all you need is somewhere to rest at night.

There’s a small minimarket in the lobby, and you can choose whether to include breakfast and a shower kit. The hotel was clean. The TV was the downside: the channel selection wasn’t complete even for local stations, and the signal was bad.
