Evora Hotel

For the price, this place is okay. It works well for students or researchers visiting the nearby campuses, and the location is handy. There are meeting rooms, though they only have the basics. The lobby is rather small and the dining area very simple.

The room was spacious and had cable TV, and the bathroom was good. The decor felt pretty ordinary, though, and we found ants on the bed 😂. For a short stay when you won't be spending all day in the room, it could work. Still, a good hotel overall.

The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful, and you can ask them for a fried egg even though the only breakfast option during our two days there was Indonesian food. The hotel is fairly close to hospitals and a mall. The room was on the small side, with a clean shower and toilet, so it should do if you just need somewhere to sleep. My brother's twin room had mold on one of the beds, though. I expected the management to do better. The place needs maintenance, and some areas should be repaired before they get worse. The front office entrance is on the building's right side, with car parking around it. The restaurant has a separate entrance at the front, plus another door into the lobby.

The location is handy, with several cafes less than a kilometer away. There's a free, spacious parking lot and a gated area monitored by security staff. Payment can be made by cash, debit card, or bank transfer, and breakfast is available. The room was clean, with cold AC, nice lighting, and hot or cold water. You can choose a smoking or non-smoking room, and the operator provided good service.
