The location is excellent, with a BCA bank and lots of international food options right next door. Since the hotel is in a ruko (shophouse) area, every time you order a Grab you have to pay an extra 8k IDR for parking. They give you an empty jug to refill at the corridor dispenser, or you can buy a bottle in the room for 15k IDR. WiFi sometimes slows down, but usually comes back after a few seconds. I’ve stayed twice, and the second visit in March 2026 was much better. On my first stay, the ground floor corridor was hot and humid, and being near the smoking area was annoying. The room on the 7th floor had no window either, but it felt cleaner and the hallway was cool. There was a small issue with my Agoda booking at check-in, but the receptionist fixed it quickly after I showed proof. Staff were great overall. The checkout lady was professional, housekeeping were always friendly and smiling, and they let me leave my luggage for a few hours while I went to a nearby cafe. It’s a clean, decent budget hotel.

I want to thank Pak Arif, the hotel guard on Sunday, 8 Feb. We weren't guests, but after a concert it was raining and we were having a hard time getting a Grab home. Our phone battery was nearly dead, so we stopped at Fave Hotel to ask for help. Pak Arif was kind and helpful, and when he saw we were struggling, he arranged a taxi through the receptionist. Without him we couldn't have got home. His kindness reflects well on Fave Hotel. Wishing Fave Hotel Graha Agung continued success.

The first impression was lovely. I came to Surabaya with my husband, who is a foreign national, and the hotel is in a very strategic spot in an elite mall area of West Surabaya. Check-in was simpler than at other hotels. I seemed to get a Deluxe room with a view out onto the street. Thanks to the short-haired lady who helped carry my many belongings. You’re strong, miss, and the service was excellent.

The staff made a strong impression, from the front desk to housekeeping. Everyone was humble, polite, welcoming, and ready to help, which added a lot to my stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, so it was easy to relax. My room was cozy and had the basic amenities, and the bed felt especially good after a long travel day. I’d happily return and recommend it to others looking for comfort and good service.
