Grand Empire Palace Hotel

The hallway smelled bad, and the room had a bit of an odor too. This feels like a very old hotel with little maintenance. Room service was so slow that I waited over an hour for a refill of body wash. There was body wash but no shampoo, and only one toothbrush and toothpaste, though there were two of us. Early check-in also costs 50k per hour.

The wedding venue was beautiful, and the building looked enormous, almost like a castle. We were there for a friend’s wedding. I know upkeep for a building like this must be expensive, but keeping it looking fresh matters. It was sad to see some corners weren’t maintained well. 🙊

The food was tasty, service was good, and everything was well organized for a wedding. The lift was odd, though. After choosing a floor, it wouldn’t move easily, so we had to press the button repeatedly :"). The walk from the entrance to the event area was a little long, but that was okay :").

It’s in a good central location, but the building and service are below standard and the place feels old and poorly maintained. The toilet faucet was broken, with water only dripping out, and the toilet light was off.
