I was looking forward to my first stay because I’ve always liked Waringin Hospitality group’s breakfast and expected their usual good service. I booked two nights with breakfast for two, but the welcome kit I’d seen mentioned in Google reviews wasn’t in the room. There was just one slipper, and the air conditioning didn’t seem to cool at all. I’m a fan of the group, so that was disappointing.

Check-in and checkout were fairly quick, but I can’t rate the stay above two stars. The room was awful: the soap dispenser was broken, the TV had odd colors and poor reception, the Wi-Fi was very slow and kept disconnecting, and there was a dead cockroach in the toilet. The water closet also smelled strange. Breakfast was mediocre with little variety. I arrived at 8:50 AM and nearly all the food was gone. Staff said it would be refilled soon, but I waited until 9:30 and nothing seemed to be replenished.

We had a great gathering here to break the fast. The decor is lovely, there’s a wide choice of food, and the price is very affordable. They’ll provide the VIP room free if you book for more than 30 people, and there’s outdoor seating too.
