There were some good points: the AC worked well, there was a little fridge, the rooms were big enough, and the shower was good. The staff apologized, and they moved me to another room right away. But the bedding in both rooms had loads of large brown and yellow spots, and there was hair in the bed too. I also found a long hair on the floor as soon as I entered. The bathroom lighting was poor, there was no toilet paper, and the walls were dirty. The decor felt cold and dull. I picked this place for its strong ratings and walking distance to the bus terminal. I’m from the Netherlands, so I know our standards are different from Asian standards, but this was terrible. I’d never come back.

The bathroom was roomy and clean, though the floor got a little slippery when wet. The room is small but decent if you just need somewhere to rest or sleep, with a bed, TV, small tables, clothes rail, refrigerator, and safe. Rates are very affordable for a decent hotel around Waru. It’s right next to the bus station, so you’ll hear bus horns all day. No breakfast or restaurant, but they sell some ready-to-eat and instant foods, and there’s a microwave in the lobby.

We stayed for one night before our flight the next day. The room had space for four people, but the AC wasn’t circulating properly and it got too hot. The towel was pretty shabby, and I was surprised that hotel amenities cost extra, including a hair dryer, microwave, shower cap, and cotton buds. The prices are displayed in the hotel lobby. There’s no lift, which made it difficult with all our bags and luggage.

The service was great, and the location worked well, close to the mall and bus station. My only issue was that the shower had very little hot water.
