Mandiri Mansion Surabaya

It’s a local apartment brand with good building quality, but the service is so-so. The location has a lot of potential, close to ITS, a supermarket and restaurants.

Breakfast was basic Indonesian fare, but it tasted good. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the hotel is near Galaxy Shopping mall. See you next time 🤩

The room was clean, and check-in went smoothly with efficient staff. It’s near ITS, which makes this a handy place to stay for exploring eastern Surabaya or attending a graduation there.

The room itself was bright and spacious, and the bathroom was fairly clean. But the constant, very loud noise from the water pump made it hard to rest. I don’t understand why management lets it continue. I learned the mansion is run by a Bank Mandiri subsidiary, but they don’t seem to be doing anything to make guests comfortable. There were also plates from room service left sitting in the hallway, and parts of the building looked untidy. The staff didn’t seem professional. I booked because it’s close to ITS despite seeing bad reviews online. If I’d known what it would be like, I wouldn’t have stayed. Avoid this hotel.
