Mango Homestay

The room was very small, and they charged an extra Rp:100K for early check-in on top of what I’d paid. There were no toiletries at all, no tissues, bath gel, or shampoo.

I like the cozy atmosphere here, especially when it isn’t crowded. It’s tucked away, and the street in front of the store stays fairly quiet. They also serve toast, which only some outlets in this franchise have. I’d come back when I need a break.

For the price, it’s okay, but don’t expect a balcony or an outside view. The location is convenient, with Janji Jiwa on the ground floor and Circle K nearby. My room was clean, the bathroom was okay, the AC worked well, and the TV worked. It smelled a little when I first arrived, though, and the walls aren’t soundproof, so you can hear people talking in other rooms. I booked a twin bed through traveloka and got a single instead. I could have complained, but I was only there for one night and couldn’t be bothered. Also, if you book through traveloka, don’t use a fake number listed on Google Maps.

A welcoming place to stay. The rooms are tidy, and the facilities are nice and work well.
