Nite & Day Residence Pavilion Surabaya

Wow, found a new spot to hang out.

Good.

The quiet atmosphere and friendly service were the best parts for me. There’s a small, clean pool and a TV box for streaming or browsing, though the pool shuts at 8 PM. Golden City Mall is currently closed, so there isn’t any entertainment beyond those options. The Sunny Day is in an apartment building that’s still quiet, and the hotel itself seems relatively new. The room looks appealing but is very minimal. There’s no kettle or coffee and tea, and the bathroom is cramped. They don’t provide towels, so bring your own. The room is currently available as shown in the attached image.

The room itself was okay, about what I’d expect from a four star hotel, but the building felt really scary and empty. At night I heard bottles being thrown. Maybe someone upstairs had put rubbish down the chute and it hit the wall, but either way it frightened me. There didn’t seem to be any other residents, and I slept on the floor.
