I was left stranded at night with nowhere to stay, and the hotel didn’t offer any alternatives. They rejected my booking, saying it wasn’t confirmed and couldn’t be found, even though Agoda said it was confirmed. The front desk didn’t bother to check again.

A dark, creepy, smelly, dirty place, with a dangerously rustic lift thrown in. You can hear lots of kids screaming at night, but there are no kids around in daylight. Definitely a zombie hotel. Don’t waste your time or money staying here.

The place is old, which by itself isn’t a problem, but it’s very dirty. There was dust everywhere, ants and cockroaches in our room, a really bad smell in the bathroom, and the air conditioning clearly wasn’t maintained. I even found old bloodstains on my supposedly clean bedsheets. A three-star hotel should at least be clean.

I paid roughly $12.00 per day for 3 days at The Hotel Oval. The room was spacious, clean, and had a comfy bed, good WiFi, and a nice view, so it was enough for a short stay. It’s inexpensive, but there’s no luxury and no amenities. You get what you pay for.

The hotel was good, with a big room on a high floor. My bed cover and towel had some dark brown spots, unfortunately, but it was still acceptable.
