OYO 1374 Semampir Residence at Ahmad Yani

The front desk was friendly, and the bed was fairly clean, but the first-floor room's floor wasn't. The wardrobe had hangers, though it was very dusty inside, probably from not being cleaned. There was no proper table or chair, only a small wall-mounted table that didn't seem sturdy enough for much. With all my luggage, I wasn't sure where to put my things. There were no outlets beside the bed, so I had to use the TV's outlet to charge my phone, which meant the TV couldn't be on. The AC worked well, fortunately, since there were no windows. What I disliked most was that the power went out seven times during my stay. It was very annoying.

I paid through the app, but on arrival they asked me to pay again and gave various excuses. I requested a double room but got a twin instead because they said the double was full. Hadegg. The room felt stuffy and dusty, there was no hot water or toiletries, and the parking area was narrow. Not recommended 👎

The air conditioning wasn't cold enough, the cupboards were dusty, and there was no hot water in the shower despite it being stated in the booking. They didn't provide soap or shampoo either. Not satisfactory.

The map has the wrong location, so the place isn't where it appears to be. Still, for under 200,000 rupiah in the Surabaya area, it's a good deal.
