I got a link from this hotel asking me to confirm my card because I hadn’t paid yet. The owner said the money would be deducted and then refunded. After entering my details, I was asked for an OTP to approve a $2,100 charge. I was shocked and rejected it straight away. Please don’t book here. Scammer!

The price was very cheap, but the place didn’t live up to what I expected. It felt more like a student boarding house than a proper public hotel, and it’s tucked well inside the area, not far from Petra University. There wasn’t even an amenities kit. Keep your expectations low.

The room was okay and the AC worked well, but I ended up in a ground-floor corner room by the kitchen. Food smells and staff noise made it feel more like a family reunion than a hotel stay. A mixed experience.
