After months of traveling around Southeast Asia, this was the first place I booked but couldn’t even sleep in. The ceiling was covered in black mold, and I could smell it as soon as I walked in. I left after 10 minutes and booked somewhere nearby.

When I last stayed here, the air conditioning on the third floor wasn’t working properly. It just wasn’t cool enough.

When I went to the lobby, there were buckets all over to catch leaks. I hope they renovate soon, especially since the location is close to the hospital. This was my first RedDoorz stay, and it was a pretty shocking one. I knew not to expect much for the price, but I still need a clean, air-conditioned room to sleep comfortably. Instead, I found mold and damp walls everywhere, with lots of little creatures stuck to them, as if the room was rarely opened or cleaned. There were blood stains on the blanket. The pillow was flat, thin, and rough, so I used a T-shirt as a cover because it felt itchy.
