RedDoorz Padang Pasir near Petra University Surabaya

The tenant had stopped subscribing to the online application and hadn’t received any updates from them. In the end, I lost my money.

I regret staying here and won't be coming back. The room was dirty, with lots of hair on the floor, no mat, and a wet bathroom. The service was nonexistent, and it felt more like a boarding house than a hotel. Even if it's cheap, other RedDoorz places have better facilities. Please clean rooms as soon as one guest checks out, before the next person arrives.

The Wi-Fi was out, and the electricity kept cutting off. When I asked why, the female staff member snapped, “Why ask me? Ask someone else.” I wasn't given a key, pass, or card either. Staff told me to keep the windows locked so they could be opened and secured, and the supposed smart lock just showed an error. I should've checked Google Maps reviews instead of relying so much on Traveloka. Traveloka, please recommend decent places. I'd go with a regular key over a smart lock.

I only lasted two hours before checking out. The water was off, the bathroom was dirty, and the sheets made me itch. They seemed like they hadn't been changed after the last guest. I was only there talking on my phone, and the bus was annoying too. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
