The staff are helpful, and there’s a gym room and swimming pool. It’s right next to Tunjungan Plaza 2. The room is spacious and has a bathtub, but it feels dated and isn’t well lit. If your room is in the middle row, the internet connection is literally dead, and the window looks straight at the window of a room in the opposite row.

The restaurant could be better. The food was average and didn’t stand out against other 4-star hotels. It would be nicer if tables came with tablecloths, napkins, and full cutlery from the start, and if waiters offered tea or coffee. The personnel seemed somewhat understaffed but were helpful. I liked the old hotel’s charm and the childhood nostalgia it brought back. It feels like stepping into the 1990s, with simple rooms that are comfortable enough for a short stay and very affordable prices. The central location is excellent, just steps from a shopping mall. I had a good stay.

The staff were SUPER friendly, and Tunjungan Plaza and Jalan Tunjungan are both within easy walking distance. It’s a centrally located four-star hotel with a classic vintage design. Some things could use a little retouching, but overall it was pretty good!

The staff were genuinely warm, much friendlier than the people at a luxury hotel I stayed at in surabaya. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. It’s a simple no-frills place with what you need for a comfortable stay, and a clean, budget-friendly choice in surabaya. Great value for the price, and I’d recommend it for affordable accommodation with reliable service.

The helpful, friendly staff made my stay at Hotel Tunjungan even better. It’s right in the heart of Surabaya and directly connected to Tunjungan Plaza, so shopping and dining were super convenient. Great value for money. I’d recommend Hotel Tunjungan for a business or leisure visit to Surabaya, and I’ll definitely return on my next trip.
