The hotel’s location is excellent, and the room feels modern, with nice furniture and amenities. For the price, it’s one of the better options in town. I’d stay again and would recommend coming, but check the bedding first. My room hadn’t been cleaned or had its sheets changed after the previous guests. I noticed hair on the sheets and pillow. I complained, and they fixed it, though they only cleaned the basics. Corners and less visible surfaces were still very dirty. The cleaning service is really letting the hotel down. Trust me, check the bedding; those are clean. You’re good.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the toilet was well maintained and didn’t smell. The water was heated, though its pressure was a bit slow. Free water was available from dispensers, and the place seems newly refurbished. Service was good. I had a good short stay in Solo Balapan. It’s close to many attractions, especially Pasar Klewer, the Grand Mosque, and other nearby spots. Soap and shampoo could be added. The room was pretty dirty, though it could be great with better cleaning. I appreciated the staff’s help, and the location is central and convenient without being too noisy. The bed was comfortable, the A/C worked well, and there’s a good "Japanese" restaurant in the lobby.

There wasn’t anywhere to put luggage, but the bed was comfortable and the AC was cold enough. We had to make do with cold shower water. At check-in we waited for someone to open the door. Luckily, after looking through the glass wall, we spotted a note on the reception table with the staff’s mobile number. The room hadn’t been cleaned properly, but after we reported it they did a deep clean.
