We were in town for a family reunion and stayed here recently. The restaurant has a cozy feel, with an open section and a garden. The building is an old heritage property with royal history, but it’s kept in good shape. Its location also made it easy to get to places like Pura Mangkunegaran, Kampung Batik Kauman, Pasar Triwindu, Kampung Batik Laweyan, and Pasar Klewer.

A peaceful, homey place with a classic style, right in the center of Surakarta (Solo). The price was decent, and the staff were helpful. Our bedding was clean, there was hot water, and the suite rooms have parking right outside.

The lobby was a little hard to find, but the staff were great. It’s an older hotel, though fine for the price. The important things were clean, and the air conditioning worked.

We’ve stayed here twice and it’s never let us down. The rooms are very clean, and the service is excellent. It’s an old heritage hotel in the city center, so you can walk to the points of interest. I’d happily come back.

The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly. The amenities were complete, too. It’s a heritage building that was once used as a prince’s house, with some old ornaments still visible. I had a great one-night stay. If you arrive early, you can ask about checking in ahead of time, as long as a room is available.
