So epic...

The room felt homey, almost like a boarding house, and had loads of useful things: a window, drawers beneath the bed, a desk, TV, clothesline, shoe rack, private bathroom with a water heater, bin, and even a broom. There was also a kettle and glasses, with drinking water on every floor. The TV worked with IQIYII, YouTube, and a few other platforms, so it wasn't just there for show. I booked through the tiket.com app for a little over 100. The room was a comfortable size, especially for one person, and the bed seemed about 120 wide, soft and hotel-like. It's not right in the Jalan Slamet Riyadi area or downtown, but about a 10-minute walk away. You reach it through an alley, with plenty of vendors outside both day and night, plus an Indomart. There's a shop opposite that Indomart selling really tasty spring rolls. I was staying alone and worried a bit about spooky stuff, but it felt safe and comfortable. Check-in was easy too.

It's set up like a boarding house, though overnight stays are allowed. Everything was fine: the room had cold AC, hot water in the bathroom, and hot water for making coffee or instant noodles. Pretty complete.

Small room, but there's a work desk and the bathroom was clean. I got a good cheap rate through the app.
