Megaland Hotel

I had a very enjoyable stay, possibly my best training trip hotel so far, even compared with places rated higher. The hotel’s accessible in many ways: the entrance has no steps and there are lifts. My room had a walk-in shower with just a small lip to contain drips. I’d still like grab rails by the shower and toilet. It seems suitable for someone using a walker or stick, but wheelchair users may find transferring to the toilet difficult. The restaurant was nice, with a good, though not huge, selection. The food was well presented and good quality. Staff were extremely helpful, though I don’t think many speak English. Water stations throughout the hotel made it easy to get as much drinking water as I needed, on top of the generous room supply. The medium-sized meeting room worked perfectly for training with seven students and three teachers. It was roomy enough for meals too, which we had there last night when an event filled the dining room. Carpet and floor-to-ceiling curtains kept it pretty quiet. There’s a small gym in a quiet corner off the lobby, with five new, sturdy machines: a treadmill, bike, elliptical and some weight machines, plus dumbbells. It has AC and was open early, before 6 am, and late, after 6. It isn’t staffed, so remember to turn off the AC when you’re finished.

We loved everything about the place, and it was a lucky find at a reasonable price. It’s very close to the city center. We booked through agoda and asked for a honeymoon setup, and they did it for us hahaha 🤣.

The room and bathroom were spacious, but the lighting was very dim. It made the room feel gloomy and uncomfortable for working in the evening.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a smart TV and built-in hairdryer. The facilities were all in excellent condition, and the staff were friendly and quick with good service overall. There was a power outage in my room, so I had to move. The next day I was asked to switch rooms again because renovations were underway. I was given a complimentary fruit plate to make up for the inconvenience.
