The hotel is next to the bus station, so it was noisy, and the poor soundproofing seriously affected my sleep. At night, there were many older sex workers around. The room had no stool, and drinking water wasn't complimentary, so I had to pay for it. On the fourth floor, WiFi didn't work at all. I told the front desk clerk, but they said nothing could be done. They said normal WiFi was available on other floors if I paid another 100,000 Indonesian rupees per night to upgrade to a supposedly higher room type, and their attitude was very bad. The sheets and quilt were filthy when I checked in, and clearly hadn't been changed. I had to ask a staff member to replace them, but even after two changes, they still weren't particularly clean.
