Swiss-Belhotel Solo

The central location made it easy to get around Solo, whether for attractions or business. I also liked the city views, and the spacious pool was a pleasant place to relax. Swiss-Belhotel Solo has comfortable, very clean rooms, with notably good soundproofing and a full set of toiletries. Breakfast was another strong point, with a tasty buffet and enough variety for different preferences. It brings together convenient facilities and a good location for a stay in the city.

Agnes made a real difference to my stay. She helped me from check-in through check-out, always with a warm smile and attentive service. The lobby was lovely too, and I really enjoyed its fragrance. I stayed in an Executive Room with plenty of space, a smart TV, desk, and cozy sofa. The bed was very comfortable, and I had a beautiful view of Solo. The large bathroom was convenient, with two washbasins. One thing to know is that there isn't a proper refrigerator. There's a display cooler, but it doesn't chill like a fridge. I joined both iftar and sahoor, and the food was delicious with lots to choose from. Staff were quick to clear plates and attentive during meals. There was also plenty of basement parking, and the hotel is not far from Solo Balapan Railway Station. A very comfortable stay, and one I'd recommend when visiting Solo.

Breakfast had a broad spread of international food and traditional Solo dishes. Even with the restaurant busy, the chef stayed friendly, smiled, and offered us some suggestions. The restaurant staff and the F&B Leader were welcoming as well, and greeted us cheerfully during the rush. Our room was clean, roomy, and smelled fresh, with a lovely view of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Thanks to the Housekeeping team for getting it ready so nicely. A special greeting for my child had been set up in the room, which made my child and wife very happy. We felt welcomed from the start, from the lobby security and reception at check-in to the refreshing welcome drink from the lobby staff. Thanks to everyone at Swiss-Belhotel Solo for making this such a memorable family holiday. We'll definitely return.

The night view of the city is amazing. From the room you can choose a view of the pool or the keris monument, and the monument-facing rooms also look out over the bengawan solo river. The hotel is well placed in what I think is the city center, close to everything. Best of the best, I assure you.
