The Sunan Hotel Solo

I felt at ease here within just a few hours, and we ended up extending our stay three times. I made an error with one booking, and management gladly helped me fix it. The pool is incredible, the fitness centre has plenty of equipment though it can feel a little warm, and the staff are really friendly. The room facilities were excellent too. This is the best hotel I've stayed in, and I'll return when I'm in Solo again 🙏

The breakfast is the best I've had in the Solo area, in my opinion. My room was clean in every corner, and the AC got really cold. I don't mind that the furniture is old, as long as things are clean and comfortable. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Solo 🙏

Everything felt clean, from the bathroom and pool to the room itself, and the furniture was nicely polished. Parking was easy and there wasn't traffic. Purwosari Station is close by for the commuter line to Yogyakarta city. Lokananta Bloc is a one-minute walk across the road, and the Tengkleng restaurant is about six minutes away on foot. The room rate was affordable during the holiday season.

The pool is large and deep, great for swimming, though it gets busy on weekends. The hotel has plenty of space, including a generous lobby, restaurant, and parking area. It's clearly an older property, but the upkeep is good and the rooms and facilities were in good shape. My room was comfortable and came with a bathtub, hairdryer, safe, TV, and mini refrigerator, all working properly. Amenities were provided, and the place stayed clean during my visit. The location is convenient on the main road, near a mall and hospital. I had a good impression of the hospitality, which deserves appreciation even though the hotel isn't part of an international chain. I hope they keep up the standard.
