Puri Kusuma Guest House

I booked a room for a colleague visiting on business. This guesthouse seems to have some of the cleanest, good-quality rooms in the Tabanan area. It's just behind Tabanan Hospital. There isn't any food served there, and the nearest minimarket or food stalls are about a kilometer to the west or east, so it's a bit far from nearby activities.

I used this as a base for different trips north, south, and west, and it worked really well. If you're staying on this side of the island, you'll need a motorbike. There's not much nearby, but with a bike you can get into central Bali easily. The wifi was great, so I could work without problems, and the front desk was very helpful despite the language barrier. A really good hotel for travellers.

The owner was really helpful, and the price was low. It’s a quiet place to spend the night, with a clean, comfortable bedroom. Hot showers, bottled water, coffee, and tea are included. A good place to stay in Tabanan.

The rooms are very small and have no windows, so they feel a bit claustrophobic and the air isn’t great. You can also hear the mosque chants in the middle of the night. On the plus side, the internet works perfectly, the shower has hot water, and the room comes with water, a toothbrush and toothpaste, tea, and coffee. The place is neat, and the people running it are lovely and helpful.
