I arrived and was told the place had been closed for two years. Agoda confirmed the reservation was still valid, but the owner wouldn't refund me. I hope nobody else gets caught in the same situation.

I booked a room here yesterday and spoke to the owner directly. The house is now rented by the month and isn't being used as a homestay. The owner says the online price is very detrimental to them, and the property is no longer for sale on booking sites. They have repeatedly asked the apps to block the listing, but nothing has been done so far. If you've already booked, contact OYO customer service or the app you booked through about a refund. The money goes to the app's account, not the owner's. I was lucky to use cash on delivery, so getting my money back was hassle-free. For a safer booking and to avoid misunderstandings, use cash on delivery or contact the owner directly. I hope this helps.

I've tried several ways to get the listing removed, including contacting OYO, but it is still posted and nothing has been done. We're very sorry to anyone who has booked already. I stayed here for 50k from 11/12/2023-13/12/2023. The photo shown isn't real. It's a 2mx6m boarding room with one mattress, pillows, a bolster, and a bathroom outside. We're no longer partnered with the app, so don't book through it. Just come in person.
