Our room on the second floor was clean and spacious, with a balcony, table, and chairs where we could relax and look out at the greenery. The stay at Kawi Resort has been pleasant. There are stairs to the lower floors, so if you're with an older person or someone with access needs, ask for a room on the top floor. Breakfast has a range of dishes from different cuisines, such as pancakes, fried rice, Balinese porridge, and eggs Benedict, with coffee or tea and juice. Some options also come with dessert. I had Balinese porridge on the first day and tuna tataki salad the next, and both were delicious. The one issue was restaurant service. Our dishes came out quite spread apart, with the last person served only after the first had finished. We were a large group, so that part was understandable. But dessert came for everyone soon after, when the last person had only taken a few bites, and the ice cream meant you couldn't really leave it for later. That could be fixed easily. Otherwise, we'd recommend this place.
